The Conference of Young Algebraists in Thailand (CYAT) is a series of conferences for mathematicians and researchers in the field of algebra and related topics. The conference was started by Tiang Poomsa-ard and his group in 1996 at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, to provide a platform for young algebraists, researchers, and college students across Thailand to share their research findings and exchange ideas. The CYAT was established as an international conference (ICYAT) in 2019 to expand its reach to a global audience.

The 17th International Conference of Young Algebraists in Thailand (ICYAT2024) will be held at the Division of Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Khon Kaen Campus, Khon Kaen, Thailand on 21-23 March 2024.

The conference topics will be presented and discussed, covering the fields of (but not limited to):

1. Theory of Semigroups, Groups, Rings, and Fields

2. Algebraic Hyperstructures

3. Ordered Algebraic Structures

4. Logical Algebras

5. Fuzzy Structures and Decision-Making Problem

6. Universal Algebra and its Applications in Computer Science

7. Interactions of Algebras with Logic Automata and Combinatorics

8. Application of Algebras in Data Science and Machine Learnings

There will be four keynote speakers in the conference:

1. Prof. Klaus Denecke (University of Potsdam, Germany)
   Topic: Partial Clones of Terms

2. Prof. Michiro Kondo (Tokyo Denki University, Japan)
   Topic: Algebraic Properties of L-fuzzy Relations  on Residuated Lattices

3. Prof. Erkko Lehtonen (Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates)
   Topic: On Clonoids of Boolean Functions

4. Prof. Josef Slapal (Brno University of Technology, Czech)
   Topic: Graph Connectedness for Digital Imagery

5. Prof. Akihiro Yamamura (Akita University, Japan)
   Topic: On Permutation Statistics of Parikh Matrices

The conference fee is 500 THB free for students and 3,000 THB for non-students during the early bird payment. In the regular payment period, the conference fee is 1,000 THB for students and 3,500 THB for non-students. The fee includes conference materials, the program, a book of abstracts, a certificate of attendance, coffee breaks, and the conference dinner.
