| Things I Learned

Many of the things I learned in Empowerment Technologies, such as the current state of ICT in the Philippines and the evolution of the world wide web from version 1 to version 3, are interesting topics to learn more about in my strand or course. The second is about netiquette, which taught me not to trust anyone on the internet and not to give my personal information to anyone I only know on the internet because they might leak my privacy and information about me; and the third is about this ICT project for social change, which gave me an interesting cause. After doing the lesson, I discovered that there are a few things that you can do to help others using social media; the last is about the history of ICT in the Philippines, which helped me to acknowledge the past of ICT and also a few things that you can do using social media.
