ABOUT THE PATENT CONTACT OFFICE

The Patent Contact Office is one of the honorary offices of the National Research Center, which is directly affiliated with the Office of the Center's President and is responsible for promoting and facilitating the submission of patents to the institutes affiliated with the National Research Center and providing technical and financial support.

Message: Raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property, innovation and formulating patents in sciences related to the fields of the institutes for all members of the National Research Center by organizing training courses, seminars and conferences and providing technical and scientific consultations.

We are honored to invite you to participate in the first international conference of the Patent Contact Office in the fields of agriculture and food security within a series of conferences that include inventions and applied scientific innovations with international participation by a group of world scientists and specialists in everything related to agriculture, food security, environment, food industries and other related sciences

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I cordially invite you to participate in the "International Conference of the Patent Contact Office in  the Fields of Agriculture and Food Security"  which will be scheduled in in October  29-31, 2024 under the auspices of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research , Ministry  of Environment and Academy of Scientific Research.

The venue of the Conference locates at  National Research Centre , Cairo, Egypt .

Technological progress and innovations in the field of agriculture contribute effectively to improving agricultural productivity and ensuring the provision of food to achieve food security for human. Climate change and rapid environmental changes are the main reasons behind rising the global hunger rates and malnutrition. Achieving a balance between traditional and technological agriculture, enhancing international cooperation, integrating efforts, and exchanging experiences, is vital to provide solutions that enable us to confront challenges, which leads to developing the agricultural ,environment , food healthy and  security sectors. Therefore, climate-smart agriculture support the use of technology and innovation to develop agricultural and food systems for enhancing the global food security on a sustainable basis. Investing in green innovation to achieve technological and sustainable development through developing the agricultural sector is considered a fundamental goal for economic growth and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 for the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic dimension, the social dimension, and the environmental dimension.
