This Privacy Policy explains how iCost handles user data.
iCost is a simple personal expense tracking app designed to help users record income and expenses locally on their device.
1. Data Collection
iCost does not collect, upload, transmit, sell, or share user data.
The app does not require an account, login, phone number, email address, or any other personal identifier.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
iCost stores bookkeeping data locally on your device, including:
- Income and expense records
- Categories
- Amounts
- Notes entered by the user
- Dates and times of records
- Theme preference
This data is stored only on your device using local app storage.
iCost does not send this data to any server.
3. Internet and Network Access
iCost does not request internet permission.
The app does not connect to remote servers, cloud services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or third-party tracking services.

Because the app does not upload or transmit user data, no personal bookkeeping data is shared with the developer, service providers, advertisers, analytics providers, or any other organization.

iCost uses Android development libraries required for app functionality, such as local database, user interface, navigation, and dependency injection libraries.
iCost does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social login SDKs, payment SDKs, or cloud synchronization SDKs.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
All bookkeeping data remains on the user's device unless the user deletes it.
Users can delete individual records inside the app.
Users can also remove all locally stored app data by uninstalling iCost or clearing the app data from Android system settings.
7. Security
iCost keeps user data local to the device.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their own device, including using system security features such as screen lock, device encryption, and backups according to their preferences.
#8. Children's Privacy
iCost is not specifically directed to children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when iCost changes its features or data handling practices.
