PSSN VLOGGING CONTEST 2021

MECHANICS

  1. Eligibility

  • The contest is open to general public. Amateur bloggers are most welcome. An individual or a group can submit ONE entry only. All interested individuals/groups should pre-register to this link https://forms.gle/qwWowXUS5AJBGeddA until October 15, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST to confirm their participation.


2. Theme

  • Nature exploration, education, and innovations during a disruption


3. Entry Requirements

  • Entries must be in English and originally produced for this competition.

  • The vlogs must be shot in landscape orientation and at least 1280p x 720p resolution.

  • The minimum length of the vlog is three (3) minutes while the maximum is five (5) minutes.

  • The submitted entries must not have been submitted in any competition or never been published in any digital platforms.

  • The participants must ensure that the vlog should be appropriate for general public viewing and must not contain any offensive language and images. It should also embrace diversity and inclusion.

  • It is the responsibility of the participants to strictly follow their community guidelines on COVID-19 during shooting.

  • The organizer is not liable for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of entering the competition.

  • The organizer does not assume any liability for any unlawful or unlawfully produced content entry.

  • The participants consent to have their submissions uploaded to the organizer’s website for popularity judging.

  • Failure to comply in any of the abovementioned requirements will result in automatic disqualification.


4. Submission

  • The video must be saved in MP4 or AVI.

  • The filename should be written in this format: PSSN_Vlog_Participant’sName

Sample: PSSN_Vlog _JuanDelacruz (sample for individual)

or PSSN_Vlog _CLSUGroup (sample for group)

  • Each entry must be uploaded to the personal Google Drive of the participant/group representative and should be shared to clsuiao@clsu.edu.ph not later than October 15, 2021, 11:59 PM PST.

7. Evaluation and Selection of Winners

  • Entries will be judged by panel of experts.

  • Shortlisted participants will be notified via email

  • The winners will be announced on November 27, 2021 during the last day of PSSN International Conference on Nature Studies and Innovation for the Environment 2021


8. Prize

  • 1 st place Php 5,000.00

  • 2 nd place Php 3,000.00

  • 3 rd place Php 2,000.00

All winners and participants will receive certificates of recognition.


9. General Information

By submitting your Vlog, it is understood that you agree to allow the organizer to use your submitted entry for promotion, information, and education purposes without any cost. PSSN reserves the rights to publicize and promote the video with proper acknowledgement.

PSSN does not assume responsibility or liability for any video or portion thereof, or for any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use or dissemination of any video submitted in this contest.

The judges' decision is final. Participants agree to be bound by the official contest rules, guidelines, and decisions of the judges.
