At CaffeSafe, built by Hamad Issa, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application, CaffeSafe.


1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

CaffeSafe is designed to track caffeine decay and optimize your sleep hygiene locally. 

- Personal Data: We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or location) to external servers.

- Application Data: Any data you enter into the app—including daily caffeine logs, beverage types, and time entries—is processed and stored strictly locally on your own Android device using secure local storage.


2. DATA RETENTION POLICY

We retain the daily caffeine logs, streaks, and customization metrics you enter within CaffeSafe locally on your device to build your interactive decay charts and achievements. This data is kept on your device for as long as the application remains installed.


3. DATA DELETION POLICY (HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA)

You have absolute and total control over your data. You can completely and permanently delete all your logged data, history, and streaks at any time by using any of the following methods:

- Device Storage Clearance: Go to your Android Device Settings > Apps > CaffeSafe > Storage > Tap "Clear Data" (or "Clear Storage"). This will instantly and permanently wipe all your data from the device.

- Uninstallation: Uninstalling the CaffeSafe application from your device will automatically and permanently delete all stored caffeine logs and configuration metrics from your device.


4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

CaffeSafe does not use third-party data tracking tools or analytics frameworks that capture your personal information. If you use the native Android Share Sheet feature to share your achievements to social media platforms (like Instagram or WhatsApp), that interaction is governed entirely by the privacy policies of those respective platforms.


5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since all data is stored strictly locally on your device, we have no access to it.


6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
