Conference speaker 1: Pr Ezzeddine ZAGROUBA (Tunis ELMANAR University-Tunisia)
Ezzeddine Zagrouba received his HDR at the FST/University of Tunis ElManar and his PhD and engineering degree from the Polytechnic National Institute of Toulouse (ENSEEIHT/INPT) in France.
He is a full Professor of computer Science at the Higher Institute of Computer Science – University of Tunis El Manar (ISI-UTM). He was the director of ISD-UMA (2009-2011), the director of ISI-UTM (2011-2014) and then the vice president of the Virtual University of Tunis “UVT” (2014 – 2020).
He was also the General Director of the National Center of Technologies in Education (CNTE) (2021-22).
Actually, he is the director of the research laboratory LIMTIC “Informatique, Modélisation et traitement de l’Information et de la Connaissance”. He serves also as an expert specially in the field of digitalisation, smart education and technologies.
His main research activity is focused on artificial intelligence, imaging, computer vision and knowledge discovery.
His academic mission concerns :
– Teaching graduate courses for License, Master & Engineer levels.
– Supervising Research activity : Internships, Masters, PhD. and HDR.
– Leading, expertising and contributing on R&DI international and national projects
Conference speaker 2: APr Haifa TOUATI ( Faculty of Sciences of Gabes-Tunisia)
Haifa TOUATI is an associate professor (HDR) in Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences of Gabes, Tunisia. She is the head of “Hatem Bettahar IReSCoMath” Research Lab (LR20ES11) in the Faculty of Sciences of Gabes, where she leads a team of dedicated researchers working on distributed systems, networking, security, communication and mathematics. Previously she has been coordinator and co-founder of the professional Master's degree in Security and Networking. She has also seved as coordinator of the research Master's degree in Computer Science and Networking in the Faculty of Sciences of Gabes. Most recently, in 2023, she served as a visiting professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), Paris. She received her HDR from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), Tunisia in 2021. Her teaching interests focus on computer networks and cyber security. She is currently serving on several reputed international conference Technical Program Committees. She is also reviewer in several international journals and conferences. Her current research interests include Artificial Intelligence, future Internet architectures, Cybersecurity and Blockchain. She is the author of more than 60 articles and papers in refereed journals and international conferences.
Conference speaker 3: APr Samir GARBAYA (Arts et Metiers ParisTech- Paris-)
Is Associate Professor at the ENSAM - ParisTech and researcher at the National Institute for Medical Research INSERM; he has more than 25 years research experience in virtual reality and related disciplines. He received his education in Tunisia and in England, where he studied computer science and intelligent interactive systems. He holds a PhD in interactive computer graphics and virtual reality. His research activities span a large spectrum of research topics over the last 25 years, including human computer interaction, computer graphics, virtual reality, physically based modeling, multisensory interaction with a particular focus on haptics and spatialized audio feedbacks, intelligent interactive systems in virtual environment, serious games, gamification of physiotherapy and sensorimotor and cognitive rehabilitation of post-stroke patients. Dr. Garbaya supervised many doctoral research students; he authored more than 80 scientific articles in his field of his research. He has been a member of the organizing committees of international conferences and he is the founder of the World Conference on Innovative Virtual Reality (WinVR) in 2009. Dr. Garbaya is a founding member of the French Virtual Reality Society (AFRV). He served as an expert for many international science foundations, including the European commission to evaluate research programs and define research directions in the domain of emerging technologies.
Conference speaker 4: APr Alya MLAIKI (EDC Paris Business School -Paris-France )
Alya MLAIKI was born in Tunis, she completed part of her academic training in Tunisia until obtaining a master's degree in Management Science, specializing in Management at ESSEC in Tunis. She completed a research master's degree at Paris-Dauphine University (Master 101 - General Organizational Policy) and then obtained a doctorate in Management Science, specializing in Information Systems Management, at the same university.
She is a teacher-researcher in Management and is currently director of the Grande Ecole Program at EDC Paris Business School in France. She is interested in the use of technologies in organizations and also in the development of skills and specifically Soft Skills.
At EDC Paris Business, she has led the Grande Ecole Program for 2 years but also the Soft Skills department for more than 5 years.
This department deploys a Soft Skills training program which feeds into all of the school's programs and which offers students interventions that focus on the following themes: creativity, public speaking, writing workshops , public speaking, leadership, negotiation, etc.
Conference speaker 5: APr Jamel GHOUL (Pneumology Department CHU Medenine-Tunisia )
Dr EL Ghoul Jamel. Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax since 2013. Head of the pulmonology department at Habib Bourguiba Médenine University Hospital since 2016. Head of the Research Unit “Respiratory pathologies in southern Tunisia” (UR14 ES 27). Responsible for and coordinator of the national tuberculosis control strategy in the governorate of Medenine since 2014. Dr EL Ghoul has supervised numerous doctoral students in medicine; he is the author of numerous publications in the field of respiratory pathology.
Conference speaker 6: APr Zouhour KHILA (National Engineering School of Gabes ENIG, Tunisia )
Zouhour KHILA is Associate Professor at National Engineering School of Gabes ENIG, Tunisia. She completed his Ph.D at National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine INPL (Fr). Her research interest lies in biomass valorization (Power, hydrogen, bioethanol, biodiesel), simulation and evaluation of bio-energy systems (energetic and exergetic analysis and Life Cycle Assessment).
Zouhour conducts several research projects with international institutions such as: LRGP Nancy, CIRAD Montpellier, CNAM-Paris, Dokuz Eylul Turkey, CD2E-Lille, etc.

Experienced in training trainers and educational engineering, passionate about the integration of digital technology and new educational practices to improve teaching and learning. He helped set up online training systems, led MOOCs and supervised teams of speakers. His expertise includes the design of educational activities, the use of LMS and the management of training projects.

Workshop speaker 2: MT Zaher KANTOUCHE (ISET Tozeur-Tunisia)
Mr. Zaher KHANTOUCH is initially trained as an engineer in Bac+5 mechanical engineering and also holds a master's degree from ENIM and several qualifications in renewable energies and quality management. He is a member of several conferences, associations and committees active in the field of photovoltaics. He is also a university teacher, technologist and trainer and responsible for the Professional Master in new and renewable energies at ISET Tozeur who served as his Director for a mandate. Mr. Zaher KHANTOUCH is a multiplier and member of the steering committee who oversaw the development of national curricula for the development of qualifying training in the field of photovoltaics.
With 17 years of experience in the field of technological education, Mr. Zaher has consolidated this professional experience between university teaching, continuing education and training engineering. Mr. Zaher KHANTOUCH has developed several training curricula within the framework of projects under the aegis of GIZ in relation to photovoltaic solar energy and particularly within the framework of the RCH-DMS project, this contribution consisted of the development of educational materials for training.
Mr. Zaher KHANTOUCH, Certified Trainer of Trainers and Examiner for the trade certification “Installer-maintainers of photovoltaic systems connected to the grid” according to the ISO 17024. Standard, participated with AT&C in the development of standards for PV OFF GRD systems, lighting public, PV pumping, thermal solar and has led and co-led several dozen training sessions in OFF GRID and ON GRID photovoltaics and has coached ISET trainees using the dual approach in several training courses and technical achievements in the field of photovoltaics (OFF GRID: café and tourist relays, Pumping, public lighting) and ON GRID (residential, Tozeur power plant, MT self-production, etc.).
Workshop speaker 3: Dr Mohamed MOUHAJIR (Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Rabat)
Teacher at the simulation center of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Rabat. Head of the training unit at the medical affairs department CHU ibn sina, member of the team of teachers at the SAMUOI Rabat emergency care teaching center since 2011. Vice president of AMIAR and president of the scientific committee, active member of the design team for the project to create a simulation at the Ibn Sina University Hospital.
