Yukihiro Ichizaemon Shibata

1953 本名、柴田幸宏。岐阜県多治見市、美濃陶芸家五代目加藤幸兵衛の孫として土を生業とする家に生れる。

1976 武蔵野美術大学工芸工業学科を卒業

1977 日本陶磁器デザインコンペティションに「Pyramid」を出品し金賞を受賞する。

1978 建築デザイン「Prince of Orange」名古屋

1980 渡米（ニューヨーク）

1982 アートウェアー（米国アートジュエリーの登竜門）のメンバーになる。

1983 ドイツ版ヴォーグ誌の表紙になる。以後エル、ハーパースバザーなど有名ファッション誌の表紙を飾る。

1984 パリ秋冬コレクション（フランス）のアクセサリーを制作。レブロン、ロレアル、ビダルサスーンなどの有名化粧品メーカーのポスター、テレビコマーシャル用のジュエリーを制作。

1985 ニューヨーク市立美術館に作品三点が展示される。アフリカンエイドファッションショーに参加。

1988 アメリカ版アクセサリーズ誌に金工工芸の全米代表作家として紹介される。

1990 帰国。陶芸を再び始める。美濃の器、黄瀬戸/瀬戸黒の研究を始める。重要無形文化財、故加藤卓男氏(伯父)に指導を受ける。

1992 岐阜県伊深、正眼寺、故谷耕月老師より日本の禅を教わる。

1993 個展インスタレーション「記憶の中に存在することのできる思考の場。」（京都井村アートギャラリー）

1994 個展金工「飛天のごとく」（大阪高島屋） / 有馬頼底老師（金閣寺・銀閣寺住職、相国寺派管長）と出会い、以後茶陶についての造詣を深める。

1995 個展陶「織部の仏像」（ノリタケギャラリー、サイトウ画廊） / 個展絵画「仏師にあこがれる」（名古屋ＭＯＡ） / 個展金工「五番街のクリスマス」（サンギャラリー住恵）

1996 個展陶、絵画「From West to East」（名古屋ＮＨＫＡＲＴＳＰＡＣＥ） / 個展金工「飛天のごとく」（岐阜高島屋） / 個展金工「スワンミケランジェロ」（横浜高島屋）

1997 個展金工「スワンミケランジェロ」（大阪高島屋）

1998 個展金工「スワンミケランジェロ」（岐阜高島屋）

1999 個展「義政公を偲ぶ」（京都銀閣寺）出品作品 " 二彩大鉢 "が銀閣寺お蔵入りになる。有馬頼底管長より、号 ” 一佐衛門 ” ( いちざえもん ) を命名される。

1953 Yukihiro Ichizaemon Shibata was born in Tajimiiy, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, to a family that made its living from clay as the grandson of Kobei KATO V, a Mino ceramic artist.

His uncle was Takuo KATO (Living National Treasure of Japan).

1976 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Craft and Industrial Science.

I977 he entered "Pyramid" in the Japanese Ceramic Design Competition and received the Gold Award.

1978 Architectural Design "Prince of Orange" Nagoya

1980 Going to the United States (New York).

He started painting Swan.

1982 He became a member of Artware (the gateway to American art jewelry).

1983 His jewelry on the cover of the German edition of Vogue. Since then, his work has appeared on the cover of Elle, Harper's Bazaar and other famous fashion magazines

Created accessories for the 1984 Paris Fall/Winter Collection (France). He created posters for famous cosmetics makers such as Revlon, L'Oreal and Vidal Sassoon, and jewelry for TV commercials.

1985 Three of his works will be exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, New York.

1985 Attend the African Aid Fashion Show.

1988 Introduced in the American edition of Accessories as a national artist of metalwork.

1990 Returned to Japan. Began painting and pottery again. He began to study Ki-Seto/Seto Black, a pottery of Mino. He was trained by the late Takuo Kato (uncle), an important intangible cultural asset.

1992 He learned Japanese Zen from the late Rabbi Kogetsu TANI of Shogenji Temple in Ibuka, Gifu Prefecture.

1993 solo exhibition, installation "A place of thought that can exist in memory." (Kyoto Imura Art Gallery)

1994 He held a one-man exhibition titled 'Hiten no gotoku' (Hiten no gotoku) at Takashimaya in Osaka, where he met old master Raitei ARIMA (Chief priest of the Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji Temples, and chief abbot of the Shokokuji ), and since then he has deepened his knowledge of tea pottery.
