The Pacif Institute of Cosmology and Selfology (PICS) is an emerging centre for research, education, and science communication at Sagara, Sambalpur, Odisha, India. Rooted in a spirit of inquiry and exploration, PICS is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering public understanding in the fields of Cosmology, Gravitation, Astrophysics, and Mathematical & Physical concepts in understanding the Universe together with Science Popularization & Science Communication with focus on Astronomy, Space Sciences, and STEM Education.
What sets PICS apart is its pioneering work in Selfology® - a scientific study of Self - an innovative interdisciplinary field that integrates scientific, philosophical, and experiential approaches to explore the Self (universe within). Founded with the vision of bridging science and society, PICS fosters a vibrant intellectual ecosystem where scientific rigor converges with introspective insight. The institute advances research, inclusive science outreach, and interdisciplinary education through academic collaborations, striving to contribute to the frontiers of science.
Through its diverse initiatives - publications, workshops, conferences, talks, internships, PhD program (upcoming), mobile planetarium shows, telescope-based observations, science popularization and career-counselling talks, and student-led projects - PICS is nurturing a new generation of thinkers: inquisitive not only about the stars above, but also about the Self within.

Vision: To inspire humanity to explore both cosmos and Self fundamentally, nurturing scientific temper, curiosity, and rational inquiry from an early age.
Mission: To build a platform for integrated research, education, and outreach—bridging the science & society. Exploring observer and the observed, while contributing to sustainable development, peace, and scientific progress.
PICS aspires to evolve into a University for Integral Studies, uniting disciplines such as Physics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Cognitive Sciences, and Space Sciences.

The International Conference on Gravitation, Cosmology, Astrophysics, and Space Sciences (ICGCAS-2025) is envisioned as a premier global event devoted to exploring and understanding the profound mysteries of the universe.
