ICES PTA Croc Rock-N-Run (Fall 2024)

The Island Creek Elementary School PTA is hosting the 3rd Annual Croc Rock-N-Run in September for our students! We will raise funds for capital improvements, educational curriculum, and overall school support. We are looking for sponsors to give every student a t-shirt for the fun run and to help support the overall event experience.  


Croc Rock-N-Run Schedule:

8:40 - 9:40 a.m. 6th Grade

9:40 - 10:40 a.m. 5th Grade

10:40 - 11:40 a.m. 4th Grade/PreK

11:40 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. Kindergarten

1:05 - 2:05 p.m. 1st Grade/2nd Grade

2:05 - 3:05 p.m. 3rd Grade/EAC/PAC/PreK


*Run start/end time (45 minutes) with warm-up!


What are the school-wide goals?

If we reach the following goals, the school will have …

$ 7,000  Popsicles at the Croc Rock-N-Run

$15,000 Wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal to school

$25,000 Music and popcorn during lunch

$35,000 Ms. Barber and Mr. Magagnoli will wear a blow-up costume all-day

$45,000 A fun school-wide assembly

$55,000 Ms. Fallert will sleep at the school

How can Parents get Involved with the Croc Rock-N-Run?

Sign Up to Participate: This fun school-wide event encourages friendly competition between classes and grade levels. Every student who participates in the fun run will receive a free T-shirt and a small prize, regardless of whether they participate in the fundraising portion of the event.

 

 

Share with Family and Friends: Support this fundraiser by sharing your child’s donation page link with family and friends. Fundraising will be open from September 6 – September 22. Each registered student can create an individual link and page on the website, or you can donate to the classroom leaderboard. You can also donate directly to their classroom leaderboard. A paper pledge form will also be available on our website if you prefer to donate with a check. The Island Creek Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, making your donation tax-deductible.

 

See if Your Company Will Match Your Donation: Many companies will match your donations to a non-profit. Checks are payable to “Island Creek PTA.” The PTA is a 501(c)(3), and donations are tax-deductible in accordance with the law. A donation receipt letter can be provided upon request.

 

Come Cheer Your Child On! Come cheer on your child during their Friday, September 20 run. Exact run times by grade will be announced closer to the event. Pre-registration is required. Parents can bring homemade signs, cheer pom poms, or other items to help make the event memorable and to cheer all students on! No noise makers, please! 


Volunteer: Parents are encouraged to help support the event (day of). Volunteer roles include parent check-in, water stations, set-up, break-down, or course support.


Join the PTA: It only takes 2 minutes and costs $10. Visit our store to join! Our member goal for the 2024-2025 school year is 300 members.
