This Indo-Canadian conference is co-organized by Dr. Alex Mihailidis, Dr. Shehroz Khan and Dr. Abhinav Dhall with funding support from Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.


In this first Indo-Canadian conference on Artificial Intelligence and Rehabilitation Robotics, we invite extended abstracts for presentations in the following areas of expertise (not an exhaustive list):

Techniques for telerehabilitation, telemedicine, remote monitoring and personalized care.

Advances in Rehabilitation Robotics, Social Robots and Assistive Robots.

Video Analysis to explore patient engagement, therapy compliance, body pose estimations, and successful delivery of rehab.

Techniques for continuous streaming, monitoring, visualization and analysis of health, activity, contextual, and online data for older adults.

Techniques for handling data biases and developing interpretable, explainable and ethical AI models.

Methodologies for big data, large-scale data mining, including cloud computing and Internet of Things.

ML methods for measuring health indicators, progression of physical and cognitive health, including falls, frailty, dementia, mental health, gait stability.

Developing AI and robotics models to understand sentiments of the patients for providing focused care.

Developing smart-home solutions and interventions for reducing social isolation, connecting and engaging older adults with the environment.

Models that use Speech recognition and dialog-based interaction with older adults.
