About
I am a Full Stack ML R&D Research Scientist and Educator. I received a PhD degree in Computer Science in 2019 from the Database and Bioinformatics Laboratory of the Chungbuk National University, South Korea. I was supervised by Prof. Keun Ho Ryu. I got my MSc degree from the same lab back in 2010. I got my Bachelors in Computer Science in 2006 from Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. My graduation Project supervisor was H.E Dr. Yahia Abdalla Mohamed Hamad. I worked as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant and Lecturer both in Sudan and South Korea. I also assumed managing positions in academia; I was head of department in Sudan University of Science and Technology and country coordinator for Nettel@Africa master program. My research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Machine learning and Scientometrics along with their applications in domains such as Drug Discovery, Bioinformatics, Medical Informatics, Public Health Informatics and other domains. I have a hands on experience in Biomedical NLP and NLU.
