I am a PhD student at the Centre d'Économie de la Sorbonne at the University Panthéon Sorbonne Paris 1. I hold a M.Sc. in Economics from the University Leipzig as well as an M2 in Development Economics from the University Panthéon Sorbonne Paris 1.
In my research I examine how political, historical and traditional institutions interact with the economic and cultural outcomes of individuals in developing countries today. My research combines a mix of empirical and theoretical methods. I use primarily survey data combined with geographical or historical information in my research.
