Sound
Videos
Technical production is basically about making the things happen the audience have come to see. e.g. artists, screens, sound, effects etc
This also includes front of house such as sound towers, lighting operators etc
Front of House Towers
By the very nature of them blocking the view to the audience, there are nearly always gaps in the audience behind front of house towers. They may prove useful as a refuge area to await assistance, or provide initial treatment or assessment before transport to a medical post! They are often quieter areas too!
Also, they may be accesible central places to store equipment such as AED, Stretchers etc or as a static position for medical teams
Event Production are usually concerned about the event as a whole. They will want to know about stage, arena, campsite and carparks.
This may included:
Generator Company Manager
Crew Boss
Transport Captain
Facilites Team
Event Production staff manage the hard infrastructure on the site, toilets, running water, fences etc - how the site looks
They will also manage soft services for compliance, such as noise levels, bars operating in line with licence etc
They basically make sure the event runs smoothly, the customer has a good experience and the event runs line with legal restrictions e.g. licences etc
The Evnet Production Team may have links via its respective staff into the ELT. However the ELT decisions and actions will always supersede event production.
