Information will come into event control from various sources:

• Emergency Services links

• City or Site CCTV

• Mobile Phones

• Event Radios

• Social Media / Internet

• Landline telephones

• In person / face to face

The Event Control

• is the focal / central point for all communications

• ensures the smooth operational management of the event

• provide a coordinated response to incidents and problems as they arise

• can be based anywhere on the site (however there should always be

  • away from public access

  • quiet

  • have contingenceis for power back up, relocation etc
