I am a sixth year PhD student at Purdue University.  I am expected to graduate in July 2024 (so I am currently on the job market!). My research lies at the intersection of the field of operator algebras with group theory and K-theory. I am studying certain finite dimensional approximation properties for C*-algebras, like quasidiagonality and real rank zero. Moreover, I am exploring the structure and properties of group C*-algebras of discrete groups. My advisor is Marius Dadarlat.
I am from Greece, and more specifically I grew up in Kalamata (see picture on research tab). Before coming to the United States, I did my undergrad in the National and Kapodistrian university of Athens.
When I am not doing math, I enjoy playing football (not the american one!), chess, as well as hiking.  On cold days, I like reading books (especially crime fiction ones) and watching movies from all over the world.
