I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in Mathematics  at Sam Houston State University.   I finished my Ph.D at Purdue University in Summer 2024 under the supervision of   Marius Dadarlat.
My research lies at the intersection of the field of operator algebras with group theory and K-theory. I am studying certain finite dimensional approximation properties for C*-algebras, like quasidiagonality and real rank zero. Moreover, I am exploring the structure and properties of group C*-algebras of discrete groups. I am from Greece, and more specifically I grew up in Kalamata (see picture on research tab!). Before coming to the United States, I did my undergrad in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
When I am not doing math, I enjoy playing football (not the american one!),  (table) tennis,  chess, as well as hiking.  On cold days, I like reading books (especially crime fiction ones) and watching movies from all over the world.
