Hello Global Academy Parents and Guardians,

We understand that this is a challenging time, but to make sure that our scholars our continuing in our academic excellence over these next few weeks, we will be providing scheduled online instruction through webex, email, class dojo, iReady, and studies weekly. Below you will find detailed instructions for each platform and content.

· Webex.com is an online tool we will use to communicate and provide instruction. You will receive an email meeting for you to join the class for at the scheduled time. You will not be able to join the meeting prior to the scheduled time. We will be available to instruct and answer any questions during scheduled times. We will have prerecorded instruction for you to reference at any time.

Socials Studies classes will be held on Tuesdays.

Class times will be :

1st period - 8:50 - 9:40

Special - 10:50 - 11:35

2nd period - 11:40 - 12:30

3rd period - 1:00 - 1:50

4th period - 1:55 - 2:45

· We will be emailing you all the online instructional resources that we will reference over the next few weeks, and these assignments will need to be completed for classwork grades. If you do not have access to a printer, your scholar may copy the assignment on notebook paper. Make sure that your scholars paper has their name, date, and the title of the assignment on the top.

· Class Dojo will be used as a tool to communicate with you throughout the day and for you to message any questions. During the webex meetings, you may ask questions and share your screen with the teacher to get clarification.

· iReady will be used as a tool for students to get instructional support in both Reading and Math. Students may access this at any time.

· Studies Weekly will used as a tool for students to get instructional support and practice with our Social Studies and Science curriculum. www.studiesweekly.com Click on student and click on login. Enter your username and password.

· 3^rd – 6^th Grade, please login to www.gaexperienceonline.com to practice for the Georgia Milestones.

Pick up times for hard copy packets for those scholars that do not have digital access will be available on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
