"I AM" is a term, short sentence, or perhaps an address to the self, referring to whom the self is or could be, or a term, short sentence, or perhaps an address towards an audience to inform them who is projecting the "I am" statement. So who or what is "I am"? "I AM" with capital letters is a well-known term that refers to the God of the Christian Bible and is a well-known term in Protestant Christianity and Jewish communities. The most well-known usage of this term happened between Moses the prophet and God on Mount Sinai. God said to Moses to tell Pharaoh that the "I AM" sent him to free the oppressed Jews in Egypt.

The title of this project was one of the driving forces for the development and fabrication of this work, as I felt compelled to question my understanding of I AM and i am. "i am" written with lowercase letters was written as the inspiration to perhaps create a parallel between a God- who many believe is the creator and invisible, who has been and is adored, worshiped, and who proposes solutions for humanity's sinful state, AND artificial intelligent technology, which has been the new god as well, who is moving the stock markets, formulating creative ideas across the globe, solving work problems in factories and offices, making human life easier in many ways, and who is now becoming more and more imprinted in the social fabric, in personal and collective instances.

Having AI as a new god- an everyday companion - is where the vast majority of more developed societies (developed in terms of access to new technologies) are seeing themselves more dependent on in so many levels. Autonomous transportation like cars and drones, AI households, internet-connected gadgets like Alexa and Siri, and smartphones and computer software that respond to our everyday behaviors are just a few of many examples of how AI self-regulated software is operating in society with some level of superiority to us humans - at least attempting.

A larger research published by Artificial Intelligence Index Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence places the United States and China way ahead in AI investments: 16 times more investments than developed countries like Finland, Norway, Belgium, and Austria. The enormous push to AI technology is led primarily by U.S. companies like Google, IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, and Chinese companies like Baidu and Alibaba.

The large financial investment in AI by corporations focuses on having consumers as one of the main targets. This is because one way AI technology learns/gets more intelligent is through direct consumer interaction. AI technology is autonomous in many cases and without the need for a person/human operating it. An example is autonomous voice call responses. Have you ever had a conversation with someone over the phone but later found out it was a robot responding to you and helping with what you needed? AI, the new god, does not need human help from anyone to solve your problems when it is operating in many cases: many have faith in it.

In some sense, AI technology can, in fact, be beneficial for certain services, like the future public transportation we all are waiting for. But what about so many people who got fired these past two years by these leading companies who are investing heavily in AI technology, like IBM fired 3900, Spotify fired 6600, Google fired 12000, Microsoft fired 10000, Amazon 18000, META 11000, and Twitter 37000 (src Mondo.com)? Will AI do the job of all these people? Maybe yes, but surely not.

The two years of Pandemic have thrown tech people to work from home, made many of headquarters ghost buildings, and now autonomous technologies are not bringing people to what we humans have been doing for so long: working with our hands and personally interacting with one another.

The two years of the pandemic have thrown tech people into working from home, leaving many headquarters as ghost buildings. Now, autonomous technologies are replacing what we humans have been doing for so long - working with our hands and personally interacting with one another. The promises of AI technology to provide security on all levels may be one of the biggest dangers for society. A tool cannot operate as its creator, even if it aims to do so. We have seen what happened with Dr. Frankenstein, as Mary Shelley faithfully shared with us. We have also seen what Ava did in "Ex Machina" as a response to Nathan's desire to be like a god while venerating his creation. By looking past outcomes, making gods, and playing god hasn't been working.

So, what does this book project have to do with that, and how does AI fit into this project? This project is just a drop in the ocean that is right in front of your very eyes. The writing and visual language fields have changed forever with AI. The AI machine is learning more and more with us humans, based on the way we approach and continue to approach it - with open arms and faith. However, don't forget that the machine that is hugging you also hold a knife in its hand, ready to stab you at any moment. This machine is a reflection of yourself, the god you want to be, the god you want to give your power to, and perhaps the god who will kill you. Don't sleep.
