Md. Saifur Rahman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of North Dakota. At UTHealth, Dr. Rahman teaches graduate-level courses in biostatistics and data science, and he is actively involved in mentoring and training the next generation of biostatisticians and data scientists. His teaching and research interest focuses on the development and application of innovative statistical models and computational algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large-scale datasets.
Dr. Rahman is dedicated to advancing the field of biostatistics through teaching, research, and mentorship, preparing the next generation of data scientists to address real-world challenges in healthcare, public health and beyond.
