Monica was born in Petersburg, Virginia; the only girl out of 4 and the baby to a family that awaited her arrival!

She was raised on the premise of "right is right and wrong is wrong", regardless of who is doing the act. She is a firm believer in the motto, " if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". One of the biggest lessons she learned from her mother is to deliver the truth straight, with no chaser. Monica is a mother of 2, which she prides herself on having raised in the same love, light and knowledge she has gained through the years. She's an entrepreneur and a social media personality, credited as co-Founder of Behind Closed Doors and Wine at 9, as well as the creator of Sweet Tea With Gee. Her years have granted wisdom that she revels in being able to share.
