Born and raised in West Tennessee, Kimberly Fowler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Lane College as well as Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Social Work from Union University. Currently working as an Outpatient Clinic Director/ Therapist, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Family Trauma Professional and an advocate for cultural competence and cultural inclusion in the mental health field.
A proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated since 2000, Ms. Fowler currently serves as the Social Justice Chairperson for the Nu Sigma Graduate Chapter in Jackson, TN.
Her first love is the arts and she is currently establishing a writing career with plans to soon fulfill her lifelong dream of releasing a book of original poetry.
Ms. Fowler’s mission in life is to continue the work of her ancestors by empowering her people and educating others through increased awareness of, and appreciation for, black mental health, black self- esteem and black love.
