Based in Kathmandu, I am researching the ongoing process of post-conflict constitution-building in Nepal.
Thematically my work, which is framed within broader analyses of the political economy of Nepal’s development and aid ecosystem, focuses on constitution-making, federalism, fourth branch institutions, and democratic consolidation, decay and renewal.
In 2015, I was awarded an Australian Government New Colombo Plan Fellowship. This supported me to complete my law honours research in Nepal, which examined the ethnic component of country’s new federal arrangement.
I am currently undertaking a Master of Laws at Melbourne Law School. I hold a dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University, where I graduated with First Class Honours.
