Water is love, water is life, but…did you know it can be more? Water can be energy, food or cooling. Water can be desalinated and decontaminated, electrolyzed to produce hydrogen or monitored towards numerous activities, from aquaculture to oceanography. Water can be a tsunami or your next drink, and it is a part of us from the inside to our “outer skin”: clothes. Water is a right…but it is also a duty: our duty! And reporting for it is the new team of YPN IAHR Portugal – Francisco, Diogo, Solange and Daniel! Our goal is to reach out to you, to show you the opportunities and challenges inherent to water management and hydraulic engineering. We aim to disseminate the latest technological leaps and practices in hydraulics, share invaluable expertise through workshops and connect researchers with institutions via our website, newsletters and numerous events. Water is a part of us…so let’s be a part of it!
