iApplications inc is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Alarm Clock app uses the permissions granted and handles user data.

2. Permissions We Use and Why

To deliver core app functionality, we request the following permissions:

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To enable connectivity for necessary features.

  • ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: To ensure the app works optimally with Wi-Fi.

  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To activate alarms after device restarts.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To notify users about alarms and reminders.


  • WAKE_LOCK: To keep the device awake for alarms.


  • USE_EXACT_ALARM : Because the app's core function is alarm, this permission is required at install. 

  • DISABLE_KEYGUARD: To bypass lock screen for alarms (if supported).

  • VIBRATE: To allow vibrating alarms.

  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: To schedule alarms accurately.

  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: For continuous alarm/ringtone playback even when app is in the background.

  • USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: To show alarms over the lock screen.

  • MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: To adjust volume or play sound.

⚠️ These permissions are used only to ensure the alarm clock functions properly. We do not collect or misuse user data.


3. Data Collection and Usage

  • No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect personally identifiable information from users.

  • Local Data Handling: Any user preferences or alarm settings are stored only on your device.


4. Third-Party Services

  • We do not use any analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers in the app.

  • We may add optional integrations (like WhatsApp) solely for convenience; no data is collected from such apps.


OneSignal (Push Notifications):

    1. We use OneSignal to send push notifications such as reminders or alarm alerts. OneSignal may collect data such as your device ID, IP address, language preferences, and app usage behavior to deliver personalized notifications.

   1.App Improvement and Analytics (Microsoft Clarity) :--

We are constantly working to make our Alarm Clock app more reliable, user-friendly, and effective. To help us achieve this, we use an analytics service called Microsoft Clarity.

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how our users interact with the app. For example, it allows us to see which features are used most, where users might be having trouble, or what causes the app to crash. This is done by collecting anonymous data, which may include:

  • Interaction Data: Anonymous information about your taps, clicks, and how you scroll through the app's screens.

  • Session Replays: Anonymous visual recordings of user sessions. Please note: All sensitive information you type, such as the labels for your alarms, is automatically hidden (masked) and is never recorded.

  • Technical Data: Information about your device and operating system to help us diagnose and fix bugs and compatibility issues.

The sole purpose of collecting this data is to improve the app's functionality and fix problems. Your personal privacy is protected because sensitive fields are not captured.

By using our Alarm Clock app, you consent to the processing of this anonymous data by Microsoft for the purposes outlined above.

   2.Analytics and Service Improvement (AppMetrica):--

To understand how our app is used, identify technical issues, and improve the overall user experience, we use a third-party analytics service called AppMetrica, provided by Yandex.

AppMetrica helps us collect and analyze anonymous, aggregated data about user activity. The types of data collected may include:

  • Device and Technical Information: Your device model, operating system version, screen resolution, unique device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), mobile network information, and language settings.

  • Usage and Interaction Data: Information about your sessions, such as the features you use, screens you visit, buttons you tap, and the duration of your sessions.

  • Crash and Error Reports: Technical data related to app crashes or errors to help us diagnose and fix bugs quickly.

  • Approximate Location: Non-precise location data derived from your IP address to understand usage patterns in different regions.

This data is used exclusively for internal analytics and to enhance the functionality and performance of our app. We do not use this data to personally identify you.

By using our application, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your data by Yandex (AppMetrica) for the purposes described above.

5. Data Security

  • All alarm data and media selections remain on your device.

  • We do not transfer or share your data with external servers or services.


6. Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 years. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be promptly deleted.

(“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) when you accessing or using our mobile application or our services, all as detailed in the applicable EULA (respectively the “App” and “Service”).

Exercising Your CCPA Data Protection Rights 

In order to exercise any of Your rights under the CCPA, and if you are a California resident, You can email or call us or visit our "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" section or web page.

 The Company will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving Your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonable necessary and with prior notice.

 Service Providers have access to Your Personal Data only to perform their tasks on Our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

 Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. Advertising & Mediation Partners

Our application uses third-party advertising and mediation services to serve advertisements, which allows us to offer the app for free. We use the following partners, managed through mediation, to provide a better advertising experience:

13. End User License Agreement (EULA) Policy:

By installing or using the "Alarm" app, you agree to use the app only for personal, non-commercial relaxation, sleep improvement, and alarm scheduling. All sounds, features, design elements, and code are the property of the developer and are protected by copyright law. Reverse engineering, copying, modifying, or redistributing the app is strictly prohibited.

This app is provided "as is" without any guarantees of accuracy or reliability. The developer is not responsible for missed alarms, sleep data inaccuracies, or issues caused by device incompatibility. Ads may be displayed to support development. Continued use of the app indicates your acceptance of this agreement.
