i30Mod ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a lightweight, client-side utility and quality-of-life tool built exclusively for the web game MooMoo.io. We are committed to transparency, user privacy, and strict data minimization.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
• We DO NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
• We DO NOT collect browsing history, search history, IP addresses, cookies, or account credentials.
• We DO NOT use any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising SDKs.
• The extension performs zero external network requests to remote telemetry servers.
3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE
The only data handled by i30Mod is your personal configuration preferences:
• Custom keybindings (e.g. your chosen keys for placing walls, spikes, windmills).
• Interface feature toggles (whether the biome map, custom cursor, or CPS HUD are enabled).
• Custom AutoChat phrase.
This information is stored strictly on your local computer using the browser's local storage API (`chrome.storage.local` and `localStorage`). It never leaves your browser and is never uploaded anywhere.
4. DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF REQUESTED PERMISSIONS
Transparency regarding browser permissions is essential. Below is a detailed breakdown of each requested permission, why it is needed, and whether it is strictly necessary:
a) "storage"
• Why it is needed: Allows i30Mod to remember your customized keyboard shortcuts, HUD preferences, and toggle states across browser sessions.
• Is it strictly necessary? YES. Without the storage permission, all your customized hotkeys and preferences would reset back to defaults every time you close the tab or browser.
b) Host Permissions ("*://moomoo.io/*", "*://sandbox.moomoo.io/*", "*://dev.moomoo.io/*", "*://abc.moomoo.io/*")
• Why it is needed: Content scripts need permission to run on MooMoo.io pages to inject HUD elements (biome minimap, CPS counter, crosshair cursor) and listen for building placement keystrokes.
• Is it strictly necessary? YES. The extension cannot perform its core functions on MooMoo.io without permission to run on those domains.
NOTE ON "activeTab" PERMISSION:
The extension DOES NOT request the broad "activeTab" permission. Because i30Mod already declares exact domain matches in `host_permissions`, requesting "activeTab" is completely unnecessary. We strictly follow the Principle of Least Privilege by requesting only what is needed.
5. ARE ALL THESE PERMISSIONS STRICTLY NECESSARY?
YES. i30Mod follows the strict Principle of Least Privilege:
• We DO NOT request broad permissions like `<all_urls>` or `http://*/*`. Permissions are strictly locked down to official MooMoo.io domains only.
• We DO NOT request sensitive permissions such as `webRequest`, `cookies`, `history`, `bookmarks`, or `management`.
• Every requested permission directly serves an essential functional purpose in delivering the game utilities and persisting user settings locally.
6. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
i30Mod does not share, disclose, or transfer any data to third parties under any circumstances. All data processing occurs entirely on your device.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Any future updates to this policy will be reflected in new extension releases and documented clearly in the change log.
