My wife just bought the LG B470 phone. She would like to be able to shop for ringtone songs, purchase a couple and have them downloaded into her phone. Can that be done anymore with these basic phones ??
You can download music and ringtones over the network directly to your device by going to Games & Apps. Tap on Menu> My Folder> Games & Apps. The user manual is available on our Device Support page, which will show you how to get pictures, video and more on your phone.

Hello. I want to add a brighter-than-what's-supplied ringtone so I can hear the phone on the city streets, but in the online manual for my new 40440 (the Prepaid flip2 phone) it just says "Download ringtones from your computer using a USB cable", but doesn't say how. I could even create my own at my house if this phone had an "audio record", but it doesn't, unlike my last Alcatel. Can anyone help me?
It's been a while, but I believe you would get the sound you want saved as an MP3 on your computer. Then go to Settings, Storage, and enable USB storage. When you connect the phone to the PC by a USB cable, it will show up as an external drive. Online guide says you need the Android File Transfer app on the PC. Drag the MP3 into the phone's drive. Unplug the phone and you should see your MP3 available to select as a ringtone.
I am in need some help!. Two days ago my phone was knocked off a piece of furniture and last night neither the alarm sound that I have set for my alarms work nor if I try to change the ringtone does the new ringtone give a preview of the sound. When the alarm goes off it vibrates and makes a sort of buzzing noise but the alarm sound itself (for example, 'Sunshine' on the LG Phoenix 3). I have an LG Phoenix 3 phone (about 1-1/2 months old) and searching the internet has given me no answers as to why my alarm tones are no longer active nor do any of the ringtones work.
I have checked my volume settings (set as loud as possible), accessibility feature (all are set on 'off'), 'do not disturb' feature is on 'off', the sound and vibration feature is set on 'on', ringtone is 'on' and the sound profile is set to sound. All of the other features such as texting and internet access and phone work; just suddenly not the sounds for the alarm or ringtones.
