If you want bone conduction headphones for zoom calls that offer real-time translation across 135 languages with a dedicated touch screen, choose Hyyeosd NE20; if you need a USB C charging wireless headset for zoom calls with superior noise cancellation and high-fidelity audio, choose QCY MeloBuds N65.
• Hyyeosd NE20: Its biggest strength is the integrated LCD touch screen on the case that manages over 15 functions without needing your phone, paired with real-time AI translation capabilities. Its trade-off is that it lacks active noise cancellation, relying instead on sound isolation for audio quality. This pick is for frequent international travelers and language learners who need to bridge communication gaps instantly.
• QCY MeloBuds N65: Its standout feature is the robust 60dB adaptive active noise cancellation and an 8-microphone system designed specifically to isolate your voice during noisy video conferences. The trade-off is the absence of translation features and a reliance on a smartphone app for full customization rather than direct hardware controls. This pick is for professionals working in loud offices or commuters who demand pristine call clarity and immersive music.
The Hyyeosd NE20 positions itself as more than just a pair of earbuds; it is a dedicated translation and utility device wrapped in a compact form factor. If your primary use case involves navigating foreign countries, conducting business with clients who speak different languages, or simply learning new dialects, this device offers a unique advantage that standard audio gear cannot match. The inclusion of a built-in LCD color display on the charging case is a significant design choice that sets it apart from almost every other competitor in this space. Instead of pulling out your phone to check battery levels, switch languages, or adjust volume, you can manage these settings directly on the case. This allows for a level of independence that is crucial when you are trying to keep your hands free or when your phone battery is draining quickly.
The audio architecture supports up to 135 languages with claims of less than two-second latency and over 98% accuracy, which is a game-changer for those who rely on seamless verbal communication. Beyond translation, the device integrates six distinct modes including Free Talk, Speaker Mode, and Photo Translation, making it versatile for various scenarios. The ergonomic design weighs just 8.2 grams per earbud, suggesting a lightweight build intended for extended wear during long meetings or travel days. While it uses Bluetooth 5 technology, the focus here is clearly on the AI-driven translation and the ability to function as a standalone tool via its touch interface.

However, the NE20 is not a universal solution. It does not feature active noise cancellation (ANC), meaning it relies on physical sound isolation to block out background noise. If you work in a chaotic open-plan office or frequently take calls on a busy street, the ambient noise might bleed through more than you would like. Additionally, while it supports music playback and calls, its core identity is tied to its translation software and app integration. You should skip this product if your priority is purely high-resolution audiophile music listening or if you require deep, digital silence to focus on your work without external distractions.
The QCY MeloBuds N65 is engineered for the modern professional who demands clarity and immersion above all else. Unlike the translation-focused NE20, the N65 doubles down on audio fidelity and noise management. The standout specification here is the 60dB adaptive active noise cancellation, which covers a wide frequency range up to 5.5kHz. This capability effectively blocks out low-frequency hums like airplane engines or HVAC systems, as well as mid-range chatter, creating a quiet bubble for you to focus. For anyone using their earbuds as a USB C charging wireless headset for zoom calls, this feature is non-negotiable. The 8-microphone noise reduction system works in tandem with the ANC to ensure that even if you are standing next to a running vacuum or in a bustling coffee shop, your voice remains crisp and intelligible on the other end of the line.
Sound quality is another pillar of the N65's appeal. With support for LDAC Hi-Res Audio at a bitrate of up to 990 kbps, it delivers detail and depth that standard Bluetooth codecs simply cannot match. The inclusion of an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) enables spatial audio, tracking your head movements to create an immersive surround soundstage. This is particularly useful for media consumption or for adding a sense of presence during virtual meetings. The device also boasts triple-device connection via Bluetooth 6.0, allowing you to seamlessly switch between your laptop, phone, and tablet without re-pairing. This connectivity is vital for multitaskers who juggle multiple devices throughout the day.
Battery life on the N65 is equally impressive, offering up to 11 hours of continuous playback on a single charge with ANC off, and 6.5 hours with it activated. The fast-charging feature provides 2.5 hours of playtime from just a 10-minute charge, ensuring you are never left stranded. The IPX5 waterproof rating adds durability against sweat and rain, making it suitable for active users who exercise while taking calls. However, this model requires a smartphone app for advanced customization and lacks the standalone hardware controls found on the NE20. If you prefer a device where you don't have to fiddle with apps to get the most out of it, or if you do not care about translation features, the N65 is the superior technical package for pure audio and call performance.
• Best for Language Learning & Travel → Hyyeosd NE20: If your goal is to communicate across 135 languages with minimal delay, the NE20's translation engine and LCD case interface make it the only viable option.
• Best for Noisy Environments → QCY MeloBuds N65: The 60dB adaptive ANC and 8-mic array provide a level of noise suppression that the NE20 physically cannot achieve due to the lack of active cancellation.
• Best for Call Clarity in Zoom Meetings → QCY MeloBuds N65: The dedicated noise reduction call system ensures your voice cuts through background chaos, whereas the NE20 focuses more on translating speech than isolating it.
• Best for Hands-Free Control Without Phone → Hyyeosd NE20: The LCD touch screen on the case allows you to manage alarms, stopwatches, and EQ settings directly, reducing dependency on a connected smartphone.
• Best for High-Fidelity Music Listening → QCY MeloBuds N65: LDAC support and spatial audio algorithms deliver a richer, more detailed sonic experience compared to the standard dynamic drivers of the NE20.
• Best Battery Life (Single Charge) → QCY MeloBuds N65: With 11 hours of playback versus the NE20's 6 hours, the N65 lasts significantly longer before needing a recharge.
• Best Connectivity Features → QCY MeloBuds N65: Bluetooth 6.0 with triple-device connection and ultra-low latency (45ms) offers smoother synchronization for gaming and video than the NE20's Bluetooth 5.
• Best for Durability & Sweat Resistance → QCY MeloBuds N65: The IPX5 rating and excimer coating provide better protection against moisture and wear for active daily use.
After weighing the specifications and real-world applications of both devices, I recommend the QCY MeloBuds N65 for the vast majority of users, especially those looking for a reliable USB C charging wireless headset for zoom calls. The combination of 60dB active noise cancellation and an 8-microphone system creates a professional-grade audio environment that is essential for productivity. While the Hyyeosd NE20 offers fascinating translation capabilities, its lack of active noise cancellation and shorter battery life make it a niche tool rather than a daily driver. Unless you have a specific, immediate need to translate conversations in real-time across dozens of languages, the superior audio engineering, connectivity, and call clarity of the N65 make it the smarter investment for your workflow.
Yes, the QCY MeloBuds N65 is explicitly designed for this scenario with its 60dB adaptive noise cancellation and 8-microphone system to isolate your voice. The Hyyeosd NE20 lacks active noise cancellation, so it may struggle more with heavy background noise.
Not entirely. The NE20 features an LCD touch screen on the case that allows you to control music, change languages, and use tools like a stopwatch without touching your phone, though some translation features do require the app.
The QCY MeloBuds N65 offers up to 11 hours of playback, significantly outperforming the Hyyeosd NE20, which provides up to 6 hours on a single charge.
You can certainly use both for music, but the QCY MeloBuds N65 offers Hi-Res audio via LDAC and spatial sound for a better listening experience, while the NE20 focuses on translation utility.
