Welcome! I am an environmental economist working with the methodology of applied econometrics, experimental economics, and empirical data.

My doctoral research covers the valuation of environmental goods and services, with particular emphases on developing techniques for improved estimation of recreational demand, testing structural econometric discrete choice models, and enhancing integrated assessment models that can link water pollution to the value of ecosystem services. Additionally,  I am exploring the economics of agriculture, conservation, and water. I examine how information impacts  decision-making regarding the adoption of agricultural production technology and the management of common pool resources.

I earned my PhD degree dual in Economics and Ag, Food, and Resource Economics (AFRE) from Michigan State University and am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Guelph. Prior to joining the UoG, I taught courses on econometrics and data analytics at the undergraduate level. I have worked for United Nations Environmental Programme, European Parliament Directorate-General for External Relations, research institutes including Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management, Korea Energy Economics Institute, and Korea Labor Institute.
