Hyun Jin Ku

My research/career interest is focused on computer graphics and vision and designing/building imaging systems.

Currently, I am working as a main ML research engineer in Steinfeld for digital dentistry.

During my Master's degree, I studied Computational Imaging, which aims to recover real world information (i.e. 3D geometry, SVBRDF) from captured images using handy devices (cell phone or DSLR). I also worked on a polarimetric BRDF (pBRDF) imaging project by mainly making use of light's polarization wave properties (presented in SIGGRAPH2020).

For my undergraduate study, I developed a visual-interaction tortoise robot Shelly in Naver Labs Robotics Group, which got Best Student Award in HRI2018.
