Hello! I'm a PhD candidate in Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I study how climate change and extreme weather events affect agriculture and the agrifood supply chain. My research combines tools from the gravity model of trade, spatial econometrics, and input–output analysis to examine interregional and intersectoral spillover effects.
Research Interests: Agrifood Supply Chain, Climate Change Impacts, Environmental Economics

More About Me:
I grew up in Seoul, Täby (Sweden), and London (Canada). Living near forests and lakes in Sweden and Canada has shaped my appreciation for nature.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature and exploring state and national parks. This photo was taken during my most recent visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, on a hike to Lake Haiyaha.
I also enjoy traveling back to my home city, Seoul.
