Hyungsik Shin received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University in 2003. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 2005 and 2011 from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering, where he was a member of the Information Systems Laboratory. He joined Docomo Innovations, Inc. in 2011 where he was a Research Engineer in the Open Service Innovation Group. At Docomo Innovations, he was one of the lead engineers of machine learning and natural language processing projects. Hyungsik Shin is currently an associate professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Hongik University, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
