About Me
I am a 3rd year Ph.D. student in Statistics at Colorado State University, co-advised by Dr. Andee Kaplan and Dr. Matthew D. Koslovsky. From 2016 to 2021, I worked for Korea Credit Bureau as a lead consultant and data scientist specializing in detecting financial fraud. Afterward, I worked as a fraud data analyst for Viva Repulica Inc. (Toss) in 2021. I completed my M.S. in Statistics at Korea University (Advisor: Dr. Taeryon Choi) in 2016 and my B.E. in Statistics at Korea University in 2014.
Research Interest
Variational inference, Bayesian statistics, Record linkage, Parallel computing, Streaming data analysis, Clustering, Markov-chain Monte Carlo, Machine learning, Rare events data analysis, Fraud detection, and Statistical software development.
