Hyung Gyu Lee

I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, 2007. He was a senior engineer with Samsung Electronics from 2007 to 2010. He also worked as a research faculty with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, from 2010 to 2012. Currently he is an associate professor with the Department of Software, Duksung Women’s University, Korea.

Storage systems (Non-volatile memory)
- SSD, NAND Flash memory and PCM (Phase Change Memory) based storage design
- Controller and system software design (file system, Flash Translation layer)
Computer architecture
- Accelerated computing on GPU and MPPAs (Massively Parallel Processing Arrays)
- SoC design (on-chip communication architecture and FPGA prototyping)
