KANG,Hyundo(강현도,姜顯道)
Nice to meet you. My name is Hyundo Kang. I am an researcher on urban planning and transportation planning. My main goal is to solve environmental, social and economic urban issues from the perspective of urban structure. I'm focusing on what is needed for a sustainable urban structure and exploring solutions for land use and transport integration.
Specifically, I'm interested in ①planning a sustainable urban structure that integrates public transportation and private cars, ②introduction of new transportation such as SAV(Shared Autonomous Vehicle) which has characteristics of both transit and cars, and ③urban transportation planning with the perspective of micro-macro integration.
Sustainable urban structure based on the interrelationship between land use and transportation.
Integrated development of land-use and transit in response to climate change and urban shrinkage.
Developing evaluation indicators by combining objective and subjective evaluation of urban residents.
Exploring urban activities and travel behavior at microscopic level using big data and smart technologies.
Evaluation of walking environment using Computer Vision, etc.; Linkage between walking and transit.
The integration of macro and micro levels, and the integration of urban planning and urban design.
