If you want a factory-engineered oil filter assembly that guarantees exact fitment for your Hyundai or Kia without any guesswork, choose HYUNDAI Genuine OEM; if you need a direct OE-standard gasket replacement specifically for your Audi A3, A4, TT, or TTS with a 2.0L engine from the mid-2000s, choose BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing.
• HYUNDAI Genuine OEM: Its biggest strength is being the exact factory part designed by the manufacturer for a wide range of specific model years, eliminating compatibility anxiety. The trade-off is that it is a complete assembly rather than just a small component, which limits its use to specific Hyundai and Kia applications only. This pick is for owners who prioritize absolute manufacturer precision and want the original unit installed.
• BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing: Its biggest strength is offering an affordable, direct replacement gasket that meets OE material specifications for high-performance Audi models like the TT and A4. The trade-off is that it is strictly a single gasket component, not a full housing or filter assembly, and it applies only to a narrow window of German vehicles from 2005 to 2009. This pick is for Audi enthusiasts looking for a precise seal fix without paying premium brand markup on a single small part.
The HYUNDAI Genuine OEM unit is built for drivers who refuse to compromise on the integrity of their engine's lubrication system. As a true Original Equipment Manufacturer part, this assembly is engineered specifically to match the internal tolerances and flow requirements of Hyundai and Kia powertrains. The product information confirms it replaces a massive list of older part numbers, including 26300-35503, 26300-3E010, and 26300-21A00. This versatility suggests it is designed to be the definitive solution for these vehicles, ensuring that every thread, seal, and filtration surface matches the factory blueprint exactly.
You should buy this part if you own a vehicle listed in its compatibility range and want the peace of mind that comes with installing a component that came out of the same factory as your car. It is ideal for routine maintenance where you want to maintain the vehicle's original performance standards. The design includes a plug gasket and the filter assembly itself, meaning you get a complete, ready-to-install unit. There is no need to source separate seals or housings because everything required for a proper installation is included in this single package.
However, you should skip this product if you are working on a non-Hyundai or non-Kia vehicle, or if you are trying to repair a different part of the oil system entirely. Because it is a full assembly, it is not suitable for someone who only needs a simple gasket swap on a different make. It is also not intended for aftermarket modifications where you might prefer a third-party filter element over the stock one. If your goal is simply to replace a worn-out seal on an Audi, this complete assembly will not work for you. It is a dedicated solution for a specific ecosystem of cars, and its value lies in that exclusivity.

The BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing Gasket is designed for a very specific audience: owners of Audi vehicles from the mid-2000s dealing with common seal failures. This product targets the 2.0L engines found in the A3, A4 (B7), TT, and TTS models produced between 2005 and 2009. Instead of selling a full housing, it focuses on the critical weak point—the gasket—using the OE number 06D117070 to ensure it matches the original design.
This is the right choice for mechanics or DIYers who have identified a leak specifically coming from the oil filter housing gasket on their FWD Base Sedan, Avant Wagon, or Convertible. Whether your car has an automatic, manual, or CVT transmission, this gasket is compatible across those drivetrain variations. It is a targeted fix for a known issue in these specific Audi generations, allowing you to restore the seal without replacing the entire plastic housing, which can often be expensive and difficult to source.
You should skip this item if you do not own one of the listed Audi models or if your engine displacement is not 2.0L. It is not a universal gasket and will not fit a modern VW, a different generation Audi, or any other manufacturer. Furthermore, if your oil filter housing itself is cracked or damaged, buying just the gasket will not solve the problem. This product assumes the housing structure is sound and only requires a fresh seal. It is a cost-effective, precision tool for a specific repair scenario, not a general-purpose upgrade for all oil systems.
• Best for exact factory fitment → HYUNDAI Genuine OEM, as it is the actual part manufactured by the vehicle maker for a broad range of their models.
• Best for specific Audi repairs → BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing, tailored exclusively for the 2005–2009 2.0L Audi lineup with the correct OE number.
• Best for a complete assembly → HYUNDAI Genuine OEM, since it includes the filter and plug gasket as a single unit.
• Best for a single component swap → BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing, providing just the gasket needed to stop a leak on a functional housing.
• Best for warranty compliance → HYUNDAI Genuine OEM, as it carries the manufacturer's stamp of approval for their vehicles.
• Best for budget-conscious Audi owners → BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing, offering an OE-specification part for a fraction of the cost of a dealer-only full housing replacement.
• Best for preventing leaks → Both are excellent, but BGGJJ addresses the specific gasket failure common in Audis, while HYUNDAI prevents issues by using the original full assembly.
• Best for car audio installations → HYUNDAI Genuine OEM, because a reliable, leak-free oil system ensures consistent power delivery and engine stability, which is critical when running high-wattage amplifiers and subwoofers that place extra load on the alternator and electrical system.
In my opinion, the HYUNDAI Genuine OEM is the superior choice for anyone owning a compatible Hyundai or Kia vehicle because it represents the gold standard of engineering and fitment. When you are building a setup for car audio, reliability is paramount; you cannot afford engine oil leaks or pressure drops that could lead to catastrophic failure under heavy electrical loads. This genuine assembly eliminates variables by matching the factory design perfectly. However, if you drive an Audi A3, A4, TT, or TTS from the 2005–2009 era, the BGGJJ Oil Filter Housing is the only logical path forward. It provides the necessary OE-specification seal to fix a known weakness in those German machines without requiring a full housing replacement. I would choose the Hyundai part for its completeness and assurance, but I would never use it on an Audi, nor would I recommend the BGGJJ gasket for a Korean vehicle.
No, the BGGJJ product is a direct replacement gasket only, specifically designed to fit the existing housing on 2005–2009 Audi models. You must already have a sound housing to use this part.
While it fits various Hyundai and Kia models, it is strictly an OEM part for those manufacturers. It is not designed to be cross-compatible with European or Japanese vehicles outside of its specified list.
Yes, the technical details state it is constructed to meet OE standard body material specifications, ensuring it performs identically to the original factory seal.
No, the HYUNDAI Genuine OEM is sold as a complete Filter Assembly-Engine Oil unit including a plug gasket. It is not sold as a standalone gasket component for other repairs.
