Hyuna Cho
Hi there!
I'm a Ph.D. student in the Medical Information Processing (MIP) lab, working with Dr. Won Hwa Kim at POSTECH, South Korea.
My research interests span computer vision, statistics, and machine learning on graphs. Specifically, I'm interested in solving problems in the medical domain that can be applied to medical images and brain connectivities with machine learning methodologies.
News
[May 2024] A paper has been accepted to ICML 2024.
[Apr. 2024] I started research in the Department of Psychiatry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) as a visiting researcher!
[Feb. 2024] I won the excellence prize at the POSTECH GSAI Best Paper Contest.
[Jan. 2024] I won the bronze prize at the POSTECH Best Paper Competition.
[Sep. 2023] A paper on graph generation has been accepted to NeurIPS 2023!
[Aug. 2023] A paper on semantic segmentation has been accepted to WACV 2024 in the first round.
[June 2023] Two papers have been accepted to MICCAI 2023. One is selected as an oral (top 3%) and the other is early accepted (acceptance rate: 14%).
[Feb. 2023] I won the bronze prize at the 29th Samsung Humantech Paper Award.
[Feb. 2023] I won the silver & bronze prizes at the 35th Workshop on Image Processing and Image Understanding (IPIU).
[May 2022] I won the POSTECHIAN Fellowship.
[Mar. 2022] A paper has been accepted to IEEE OJEMB (IF: 5.8).
[June 2021] Two papers have been accepted to MICCAI 2021.
