For a while I've been wondering about getting a camera for my microscope which wasn't a SLR or mirrorless, but it needed to be something I could make work in UV down to 300nm (and perhaps below). In one of my astro groups, someone mentioned using this mini PC with their mobile setup, they just used a little monitor and mouse, and have it all on the tripod, instead of using a laptop This might be of interest in the future with your hypercam.
