Jimnism

Jimnism is a monotheistic religion based on teachings attributed to Jim. It is the largest and most common religion in the galaxy. Adherents of Jim and Jimnism are called Jimnists. 

With several distinct denominations spread across many planets, Jimnism remains doctrinally and culturally diverse. Notable sects include Farmism, Agruism, and the Sect of Rod. There are many less important subdivisions of these, as well as other unaffiliated sects. While denominations may differ in some details, they all share the same core tenets; that Jim lived, reigned over Makoba while sharing agricultural, virtuous, and divine knowledge, then ascended to Jeaven (Jimnist paradisaical afterlife) where he resides today.

Jimnism began in either the 24th or 25th century after the death of Jim when his followers began to worship him and spread his teachings even more vigorously than when he lived. His death only served to strengthen his followers' beliefs and convert many more.
