Hyeok Kyu Kwon (권혁규)

Hello! I am an (incoming) postdoctoral researcher at Seoul National University, supervised by Yongdai Kim. I am also serving in the alternative military service program. I received my Ph.D. from POSTECH in Aug. 2026, under the supervision of Minwoo Chae, and my B.S. from POSTECH in Feb. 2020. Here is my latest CV. 

My research centers on developing statistical theory for deep learning methods, especially deep generative models. I am also interested in graphical models and in exploring how deep generative models can be used to solve related statistical problems.
