Mr. Sophea Rom PHY is currently a master’s student at Kyoto University in Japan. He belongs to the Graduate School of Agriculture with the major of water resources engineering. He holds an engineer’s degree in water resources engineering and rural infrastructure from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. His research interests lie in catchment hydrology, flood modeling, extreme events, climate change, and applications of statistical and machine learning models in water resources.
