If you want a versatile, soft-sided storage solution that fits inside your vehicle and doubles as gear organization for track days or daily commutes, choose HXXF Car Seat Back; if you need a rigid, external mount designed specifically to secure heavy firearms on the rear of a pickup truck without drilling, choose Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack.
• HXXF Car Seat Back: Its biggest strength is the internal MOLLE system and dual pockets that organize hunting accessories, flashlights, and water bottles alongside two rifles; its trade-off is that it relies on straps and buckles rather than a fixed frame, making it less stable for high-speed off-roading.
• Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack: Its biggest strength is the heavy-duty steel alloy construction that resists torsion and keeps gear locked in place during rough terrain driving; its trade-off is that it occupies exterior space and requires a vehicle with a rear window opening, offering no internal storage for smaller items.
• Who is this for?: The HXXF is for hunters and racers who need a tidy interior and flexible storage across various vehicle types like SUVs and sedans.
• Who is this for?: The Diyeeni is for truck owners who prioritize maximum security and stability for long-distance travel on unpaved trails or highways.
The HXXF Car Seat Back is designed for the person who wants their gear organized without cluttering the floor of the cabin. Constructed from 900D Oxford cloth, this rack offers a durable, wear-resistant surface that can withstand the rigors of regular use. Unlike rigid metal racks that can dent a dashboard or scratch upholstery, this soft-sided option wraps around the headrest and seat back using adjustable straps with quick-release buckles. It is an ideal choice for those who switch vehicles frequently or drive different types of cars, such as sedans, mini vans, Jeeps, or pickups, because its 22 x 14-inch footprint is adaptable to most standard car seats.
What sets this product apart is its multifunctional design. It doesn't just hold two rifles or shotguns horizontally; it integrates six rows of MOLLE panels and two large bottom storage pockets. This means you can attach tactical tools, hang first aid bags, or store water bottles directly on the rack. If you are heading to a track day where you might need quick access to hydration or specific gear while keeping the vehicle clean, this system keeps everything within arm's reach. You won't have to dig through the trunk or mess up the back seat with loose equipment. The ability to fold it up and store it in the garage when not in use adds a layer of convenience that rigid racks simply cannot match.
However, this product is not for everyone. Because it relies on fabric and straps rather than a solid frame, it is best suited for highway speeds and moderate driving conditions. If you plan on taking extreme off-road trips where the vehicle will be shaking violently, the straps might shift more than a welded steel unit would. Additionally, if you only own a pickup truck and want to maximize exterior cargo space to keep the interior clear, this internal mount might feel redundant. It is perfect for the user who values versatility and internal organization over sheer structural rigidity.

The Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack targets a very specific demographic: the owner of a pickup truck, ATV, or UTV who needs a permanent, rock-solid mounting solution for their firearms and outdoor gear. This is not a soft bag that slips; it is built from thick steel alloy in a one-piece design engineered to resist torsion and compression under heavy loads. When you are driving on rough terrain or cruising at highway speeds, the frame ensures your equipment stays protected from shifting, rattling, or accidental drops. For anyone who spends significant time on the trail or navigating bumpy roads, this stability is non-negotiable.
Installation is another major selling point for this model. It features a no-drill setup that mounts securely in the rear window space, preserving your vehicle's interior and ensuring the window remains fully functional. This is crucial for truck owners who do not want to compromise their vehicle's warranty or resale value with permanent modifications. The rack holds two firearms securely but also accommodates bows and arrows, making it a versatile tool for diverse hunting scenarios. The inclusion of a complete 22-piece accessory set further guarantees a reliable, long-lasting fit that minimizes movement.
This rack is explicitly designed for the driver who prioritizes safety and speed above all else. The "Stable and Quiet Ride" feature mentioned in its specs highlights its ability to prevent gear from knocking around, allowing you to stay focused on the road. However, it is strictly limited to vehicles with a rear window opening suitable for the mount, meaning it won't work on a sedan or an SUV without a rear hatch compatible with this specific geometry. If you need to store small items like flashlights or snacks, this external mount offers no solution for those needs, as it focuses entirely on securing the larger weapons. It is the ultimate choice for the serious off-roader who treats their truck as a mobile base camp.
• Best for Track Days (Internal Organization) → HXXF Car Seat Back: The internal pockets and MOLLE panels allow you to carry hydration and tools right next to your rifles without blocking visibility or requiring external clearance.
• Best for Heavy-Duty Off-Roading → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack: The steel alloy frame resists vibration and torsion far better than fabric straps, ensuring your gear never shifts during aggressive driving.
• Best for Vehicle Versatility → HXXF Car Seat Back: Its 22 x 14-inch size fits sedans, SUVs, Jeeps, and pickups, whereas the Diyeeni is limited to trucks and side-by-sides with compatible rear windows.
• Best for Quick Setup and Storage → HXXF Car Seat Back: You can wrap, buckle, remove, and fold it into a garage corner in seconds; the Diyeeni requires a more involved mounting process even if no drilling is needed.
• Best for Exterior Cargo Capacity → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack: By moving the load outside the cabin, it frees up valuable interior space for passengers and other gear.
• Best for Small Item Storage → HXXF Car Seat Back: The integrated pockets and MOLLE webbing provide dedicated spots for flashlights, first aid kits, and water bottles.
• Best for Rugged Durability → Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack: The one-piece steel construction is inherently more resistant to impact and weather elements than 900D Oxford cloth.
• Best for Interior Aesthetics → HXXF Car Seat Back: It keeps the back seat looking tidy and uncluttered compared to an external rack that alters the vehicle's profile.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the HXXF Car Seat Back for my personal setup, primarily because of its adaptability and internal organization capabilities. While the Diyeeni is undoubtedly superior for pure ruggedness, the HXXF's ability to double as a gear organizer makes it more practical for general use, including track days where carrying extra equipment inside is necessary. In my opinion, the convenience of having a compact, foldable system that fits multiple vehicle types outweighs the rigid stability of the external mount for most drivers. However, if your primary focus is exclusively on high-speed off-roading in a pickup truck, the Diyeeni becomes the undeniable winner due to its steel construction.
Yes, the adjustable straps and quick-release buckles are designed to hold two rifles firmly in a horizontal direction, though it is less rigid than a steel frame for extreme off-road conditions.
No, the Diyeeni Truck Gun Rack features a no-drill installation that mounts in the rear window space, preserving the vehicle's interior and keeping the window fully functional.
While primarily designed for rifles and shotguns, the 900D Oxford cloth and strap system can accommodate slender items like hiking sticks and umbrellas, but the Diyeeni is explicitly rated for bows and arrows.
The HXXF occupies the back seat area but includes storage pockets to utilize that space efficiently, whereas the Diyeeni takes up no interior space by mounting externally on the rear window.
