About Me
Currently I work as an Assistant Professional Professor in Computer Science department at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (TAMUCC), Texas. My research interests are Computational Social Science, Social Media Analysis, Health Data Analytics, Text Mining, Natural Language Processing, and Applied Machine Learning. Previously I was a postdoctoral fellow in Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), Arkansas. I received a PhD in Computer Science, University of Iowa, USA in 2019, a MSc in Computer Science, Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea in 2012 and a BSc in Computer Science, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam in 2010.Â

10/2023: Our paper "A Systematic Analysis and Data Mining of Opioid-related Adverse Events Submitted to the FAERS database" was accepted at journal Experimental Biology and Medicine (EBM).
03/2023: Our abstract "RxNorm for Drug Name Normalization: A Case Study of Prescription Opioids in the FDA Adverse Envets Reporting System" was accepted as poster presentation at SOT'23 in Nashville, TN.
03/2023: I received the best poster award among postdoctoral fellows at AR-BIC'23 in Little Rock, AR.
04/2022: I am awarded as 3rd place in the 2022 MCBIOS Young Scientist Excellent Awards (YSEA).
04/2022: Our abstract "Data Mining of Adverse Events with Opioids from the FDA Adverse Events Reporting System" was accepted as oral presentation in MCBIOS 2022.
