Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) based catalysts have received a lot of attention as the potential candidates in the field of catalysis due to their outstanding properties such as large surface area, high porosity and tunable chemical components. However, performance of MOFs in catalysis is limited by low conductivity. Therefore, we introduced a modifying strategy for enhancing the performance of MOFs for hydrogen production. The coating molybdenum polysulfide (MoSx) on the surface of MOFs improved the catalytic activity for hydrogen evolution reaction.
