Biography

Dr. Hussain A. Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore, India. Before that he had been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Dhemaji Engineering College (a state engineering college), Assam, India for 1 year and 8 months. 

He received B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College in 2013 and M.Tech in Information Technology in 2016 from Tezpur University. He earned Ph.D. from Tezpur University in 2022. He persued PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dhruba K. Bhattacharyya of Tezpur University, India, and co-supervision of Prof. Jugal K. Kalita of University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, USA. His research interests include Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Machine Learning. He has published numerous research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
