Biography

Dr. Hussain A. Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. Before that he had been working as an Assistant Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore campus and  Dhemaji Engineering College , Assam. He has over 4+ years of teaching experience.

He received B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College in 2013 and M.Tech in Information Technology in 2016 from Tezpur University. He earned Ph.D. from Tezpur University in 2022. He persued PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dhruba K. Bhattacharyya of Tezpur University, India, and co-supervision of Prof. Jugal K. Kalita of University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, USA. His research interests include Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Machine Learning. He has published numerous research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
