Hush is an in-person party game for iPhone, with an optional Apple Watch companion. We designed the game to work without an account, advertising, or an analytics service.
Hush stores your game preferences, player names you choose to enter, the current round, and limited card history locally on your iPhone. This information is used to set up and resume games. Hush does not automatically send it to us or to an advertising or analytics provider.
If you use the Apple Watch companion, Hush exchanges the game state needed for the Watch features between your paired iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. A Watch can show one player's private card during an eligible turn and control the shared discussion timer. The Watch is optional; the game works on iPhone alone.
If you choose to contact us by email, we receive the email address, message, and any details you decide to include. The in-app card feedback draft contains a card ID, content version, issue type, and your optional note. It does not automatically include player names, answers, roles, or votes. You review and send the message yourself using your email app; Hush does not send it in the background. We use support messages only to answer requests and improve the game, and retain them only as needed for those purposes or legal obligations. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a support message.
Hush does not use advertising identifiers, third-party advertising, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not use app data to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App Store and Apple services may process information under Apple's own privacy terms.
This policy also appears on our support website. The website host may process technical information needed to serve the page, such as an IP address and browser request data, under its own privacy terms.
Your choices and deletion
You can change Hush's appearance, sound, and haptics in Settings. You can remove the current round, player list, preferences, and card history with Settings → Clear all local data, or by deleting the app. Clearing local app data does not delete an email you previously sent to us. Hush does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support email, contact us so we can review the request.
