Humboldt fellows residing in and around Guwahati, Assam, India met together on 12th September, 2025 and decided to form Humboldt Club Guwahati. The Humboldt fellows decided to have common goal of the Humboldt Club Guwahati as follows:

• Promote and advertise the  flexible sponsorship programs of Humboldt foundation.

• Encourage and help the young and experienced researchers in applying for Humboldt Fellowship

• Serve as a link between the Humboldt foundation and individual Humboldt fellow for dissemination of various information.
