Hui Zou got his PH.D. in Statistics from Stanford University under the supervision of Trevor Hastie. He is the inaugural Dr. Lynn Y.S. Lin professor at the Univeristy of Minnesota. He is a recipient of NSF CAREER Award and the IMS Tweedie Award. He is an elected Fellow of American Statistical Association, Institute of Mathematical Statistics and American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is an ISI highly cited researcher and is among the World's top 2% scientists ranked by Stanford University's study.
