Welcome!
I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China. I am interested in industrial organization (IO) and its applications in energy and environmental economics.
My current research focuses on market-based policy design to facilitate energy transition and carbon mitigation. For that purpose, I develop IO models and employ structural methods to assess the policy effectiveness, as well as their impacts on market efficiency and equity. I also explore various policy instruments to achieve a balance among competing policy objectives .
I'm currently engaged in research on carbon market design within China's electricity generation sector. I'm also broadening the scope of my research to other energy-intensive industries.
