This work is a digital elegy dedicated to human desire and solitude, unfolding as a surreal one-take journey.
In the first act, a golden garden, sculptures, and fountains form a splendid vision of Eden. Yet this serene magnificence is but a veil of illusion—a prelude to the collapse and descent that follows.
The second act abruptly shifts into digital noise and flickering red light, where electronic music constructs the ruins of posthuman desire. This grand feast is detached from reality; it is an illusion of humanity devoured by the torrent of information.
The third act transforms into a snow-covered ruin: hollow statues, fallen arches, and frozen beasts and angels coexisting in mist. The sound descends into minimalist low frequencies, symbolizing the numbness and chill that remain after desire has burned away. It is an intermission of civilization, a threshold of emotion—where all things fall silent, leaving only the vapor of breath and the shape of solitude.
In the final act, the scene turns to bluish-gray mist and still water. A single snow-clad sculpture gazes into its reflection, while a red apple drifts on the surface—symbolizing reflection and echo after the feast. A solo violin resonates through the image like the confession of a soul: the collapse of the outer world only leads one back to the ultimate solitude, to confront the unfinished redemption within.
Through four layered scenes tracing a spiritual trajectory from splendor to desolation, the work reveals humanity’s relentless yearning for meaning amid cycles of desire and illusion. It is both a cold contemplation of modern civilization and a meditation of the soul—when splendor finally collapses, what desolation must we endure to hear the faint echo of ourselves in the silence of solitude?
